Art Corner

Art Corner
A special feature of our practice is our fusion project "ART CORNER".  We are offering local artists the opportunity to exhibit a small but exquisite selection of their works for a quarter of a year. At the same time, we are giving to our patients the opportunity to experience art in a new setting while visiting our practice and discover the art scene of Ehrenfeld. We are enjoying our"micro-gallery" every day and we are looking forward to the positive synergies of our project!

"Love your City" by Christoph Ruhr
" "Due to my profession as a master roofer and the need for job-related documentaries, I have been involved in photography for years. Since at some point I no longer wanted to confine myself to this area of responsibility I started reading specialist literature and used various offers for further training.
In particular, I have been dealing with photography from the air for about 4 years. This is due on one hand to my independence as a master roofer, and on the other hand, the friends and clientele are asked for simmilar images. I take the aerial photographs from a helicopter or gyrocopter. This aircraft has the ideal conditions; You're not travelling fast in it and it doesn't have windows. So I can lean out and take pictures in a better way"

"Cologne Picture" by Helmut Brands
The focus of the work of the artist Helmut Brands is the human being. Creative, playful and experimental, his objects are made of wood, metal and various finds. Brands works serially on a topic, resulting in small to life-sized objects. From his claim that emotions are universally readable, he developed his pictogram-like design language. Time also plays a role in his work. Even though the process of its artistic impact is complete, Brands points out the rusting, the factor of transience, through the combination of stainless steel and metals. The viewer is invited to go on an expedition that, at best, leads to a different view of one's own environment. - Lucia Herd -

"Children of god" by Nikolas Sievert
Nikolas Sievert was born in 1978 in Bielefeld. After high school and one year of community service, he attended a private art academy in Lage / Lippe for one year. After moving to Cologne in 2001 he studied arts and theology at the University of Cologne until 2007. Since then, "man" has become more and more focúsed in his mostly large-format works. A topic he has also dedicated himself to as a martial artist and as a massage therapist in the Massage Atelier Cologne. Often, his mostly expressive-realistic depictions have references to fantasy and fairy tales but also to spirituality.
In recent years, children became subjects of his artistic exploration.
The current series "Children of God" shows children as that part of our society wich are still aware of the gates to distant worlds

"Archangel -Blessings" von Ute Sorgalla
Ute Sorgalla was born in 1969 in Cologne. Painting has been her passion since early childhood. After training in an advertising agency, she studied graphic design in Krefeld and during this time began to open up to spirituality. Her powerful and light-filled works touch the soul and give an insight into a world that escapes our eyes in everyday life. The messages of these world messages of the angels for the humans are often given in the form of pictures, which show processes in the nature, which everyone can transfer on themselves and which are very associative. Among other things, these symbols are inspiration for Ute's compositions. The pictures are made of acrylic paints and watercolor chalks as well as oil pastels on canvas, which she applies in many translucent layers. This creates opalescent surfaces and chalk lines. These enter into dialogue and produce plant-like structures or shimmering contours, so that each picture creates an individual process. The artist uses a lot of white and never black, because she wants to express that ultimately everything consists of light and vibration.
Images transport the pure energies of the angels and open the doors to the spiritual world, so that our soul is nourished by its beauty and radiance.
